Calling all potential Sonocanes!

Jackson is competing at Sonogames again in May. After a year of social distancing we need another trophy. There are so many reasons to participate:

​

1) Since the comp is semi-virtual this year expect teams from other countries

2) Team size is also variable so there are opportunities for anyone to get involved

3) Looks great on a resume

4) This a quick way to improve your ultrasound skills and knowledge

5) We have a track record of winning

6) It's lots of fun to compete as a team

7) Top 3 teams each win a butterfly ultrasound

The introductory meet-up with be Thursday Feb 18th at 1pm over zoom. It'll be the same ID as weekly conference (Meeting ID: 128 628 777) We'll talk about how the comp works and what the prep looks like.

July 18, 2020. Baby Zoomers at The POCUS Course

The POCUS Course is organized annually by MSMC/Dr. Newberry.

More than 150 learners, 9 EM Residency Programs, Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, MSMC PICU/Pediatric Hospitalist/Anesthesia/ICU attended

We need a 3-person team for SONOGAMES 2020! If you're interested, please submit team names and costume ideas.

5/17/19. Sonogames Competition at SAEM in Las Vegas. The SONOCANES took 2nd place overall out of 71 competing teams across the country! It was our Sonogames Debut and everyone cheered on the newbies. We took home a handheld Butterfly IQ and made everyone back home in Miami very proud! Great job Drs. Ryan Lynch, John Combs, and Daniel Hercz!
